1965 Heritage Seiko Diver’s Save the Ocean Limited Edition. Driven by rich legacy that has set the standard for dive watch specifications and a heritage of iconic design, Prospex continues to keep going forward with precision timekeeping, crafted for the modern world. Updated with more power, greater water resistance, higher legibility, and a compact construction for maximum comfort, this extraordinary Limited Edition draws inspiration from the Okinawan sea, one of the world's premier diving spots. Framed by a gray uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel, the light blue sunray dial evokes the sea’s unique blue tone, created by the sun reflecting off the water’s hue and white undersea sand. The dial layout also boasts improved symmetry with LumiBrite coating on the hands and all 12 markers for enhanced visibility. Available in a controlled production run of 4,000, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, the stunning creation is part of Seiko’s Save The Ocean series, supporting the company’s conservation efforts to preserve the world’s oceans for future generations. The 24-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers an upgraded power reserve of approximately 72 hours along with manual winding capability. Crafted of stainless steel with super-hard coating, this superbly functional diver’s watch is engineered for scuba diving to depths of 300m and includes a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, as well as a screwdown crown and caseback, and a specially developed slide adjuster clasp with a double lock, allowing for easy size adjustment.
